A Special Interest Group (SIG) consists of Chapter professionals who share a common discipline, industry, environment, or interest. SIGs provide opportunities to exchange information and advice pertaining to your area of practice, as well as career-specific networking opportunities. SIGs also provide you with the opportunities to assume an active leadership role. Participation in a SIG connects you with people who share your interests, challenges, and goals.
A Geographic Interest Group (GIG) provides the same realm of opportunities and support, but focuses on a geographic area, instead of a specialized focus of interest.
